I had intended to work on another painting this day, but the hazy sky wasn't the right light for the piece in progress, so I decided to work on a study instead. In this, I tried to capture the sunlight dancing on the gently rolling ocean as it reached the shore. Studying movement upon movement of the light on the water was very challenging and captivating.
