Trout leads his readers on an adventure to the river where he introduces some of the animals and plants they see.  Lavishly illustrated with full color photographs, this book can be enjoyed by non-readers as the pictures featuring Trout and his friend Cody, the Labrador, are large and colorful. 

It is a wonderful "read-to" that will hold the interest of the maturer reader as well.
